For those (younger generations) not very familiar with the history of Frida #Kahlo, the 2002 movie "Frida" starring Salma Hayek, is absolutely worth seeing.
Also check out the 1983 (new edition 2002) biography of Kahlo by Hayden Herrera. The book served as an inspiration for the movie.
