Today I had a really cool experience relocating radio tagged eastern tiger salamanders in Bridgehampton, NY! Maybe someday shark satellite tags will get this small.

Many years ago I made a series of cleared and stained fishes that have been printed on aluminum and showed in natural history museums and aquaria around the world. These are an example of how the art I do inspires the science. 🐡🧪

I was excited that #SciArt was one of the first feeds I saw after joining Bluesky. I enjoy artistically visualizing our shark satellite tag temperature-depth profiles. It’s like the sharks are painting their environment. 🐡🦑
