Trump was so resistant to doing the job that he tried to get us to call Mar a-Lago "the Winter White House" to legitimize the fact that he planned to spend most of his time on vacation.
The discourse around biden needing more sleep is fully insane. Does no one remember "Executive Time," the thing Trump spent the majority(!) of his schedule on where he would just watch TV and tweet? Dude was categorically unable to fulfill any of the demands of the office and the press barely cared

Remember when he put out that photo of himself "working" at a desk at Mar-a-Lago, and there was nothing on the desk but like a phone and some blank paper? And it turned out it was actually the reception desk? Sometimes I feel like I dreamed the whole terrible farce

And that face, that "this photo op is a punishment and I'm-a write SUCH mean shit about whoever made me do it in my diary" puss. That he demonstrably did not really want the actual job, I just can't ever get past it

I could never get over how much he clearly thought it was as staged as a TV show. Like the one time he signed the wrong part of a treaty in front of other world leaders and dismissed it because it wasn't the "real" one.

He absolutely believed that he could be "the president" the way he was "the boss" on The Apprentice.
