I have always been a fan of Donald Sutherland, tho i arrived there gradually. My favorite role of his, seldom mentioned, was as Mr Bennett in “Pride and Prejudice.” Absolutely endearing character, and of course he made it that way. Best girl dad. Rest in peace, sir.

Cool - I have watched the old miniseries 3x (a lot for me, who has little time to watch, much less rewatch) and have had this one on my list- will bump it up!

As far as I’m concerned the acting, across the board, permits complete suspension of disbelief, like about whether they even had cameras. It’s perhaps a real place, and occasionally I even exist there.
Not quite so much in Fargo, though I grew up in MN with people and relatives who talk like that.
