Really cannot emphasize enough the emotional benefit of picking a spot where you can have an outsize impact and digging in to really work on it in addition to your other efforts. My contributions to protecting anonymity online have been SUCH a motivator for avoiding despair.
I’ve found purpose in making my yard a wildlife sanctuary. Birds, chipmunks, squirrels—all wildlife welcome. But that doesn’t directly help people & my anger needs an outlet, so I’ll be doing the “mail postcards” thing which feels perfect for people (like me) who exist in/near burnout and chaos.

Aw, thank you! It has been yet another crazy summer, following a crazy spring etc etc etc. But I’m looking forward to dipping into (literally) my ink supplies to help save democracy. Plus the auction this week!
