It's not that AI will never create anything useful or profitable, it's that the vast majority of the $1 trillion estimated spend on it will be totally wasted. A few billionaires will get billionaire-ier, and everyone else will end up laid off and screwed. Like, duh. Duh duh duh.

They need to stop letting the tech bros lead and let others point them in the right direction. They've been TOLD where AI would be a huge benefit but they want to replace creatives because that's sexier than crunching huge sets of numbers looking for patterns.
