I saw a WHITE cybertruck tonight on the way home. I didn't know they came in any other color but stainless steel. SURELY painting it voids the warranty? Also, it wasn't your usual gloss/clear coat white like normal vehicles but it wasn't matte, either. It was sort of...semigloss?

Today is the 80th anniversary of this New Yorker cover by Rea Irvin, portraying the D-Day invasion in the style of the Bayeux Tapestry. Bayeux was the first town to be liberated (although the tapestry was, to the surprise of many, not there anymore; that story is the subject of my next novel.) 1/5

The boys get excited when we mention a "toothbrush" and they rush over to the counter where we keep them and Jock does his prayer paws. Dad thought of calling them "tomahawks" instead to see if the boys picked up on it. After a few times, they know "tomahawk" = "toothbrush". 1/2

Bone density scan: literally the most painless, least invasive procedure. BUT they only scanned my spine and left hip, so not *entirely* sure how accurate the results will be.🤷
