I feel like I need to give The Walk another shot. I saw it in relatively close proximity to the documentary and thus it came across as somewhat extraneous. Feel like time has probably been kind to it, though.

The more space between the two, the better. The walk itself bulldozed me emotionally, but that's a deeply personal response from another life.
