I relate to the second part a lot, and it goes the other way too – I spent a lot of my early 20s finding out that people I thought I agreed with did *not* want the things wanted at all
Ok but like, who’s promising them that? porn?do people actually think porn is real? I’m so confused
Like this is symptomatic of the whole wider issue I’m having right now, where I’ve spent my whole life building mental models of what assholes are like but they’re all smarter than the real assholes
