the subtext here is that all effective forms of peaceful protest (those that inconvenience the majority) are actually violence against the dollar, and will be responded to with physical violence
if you're young and abled the destination you might arrive at if you follow this logic to its conclusion is that you might as well engage in more effective acts of criminal sabotage, that are less likely to get you brutalized by the state if you get away
