I was just reading a comment on a doxxing (maybe?) controversy that I really know nothing about (and don’t need to, it was very confusing but I did not know anyone involved) that was essentially “but we all know [controversy] now” and I was like, no, no “we” do not.
(It also tracks with a corporate tendency I’ve found with the terminally b-schooled who do not understand the difference between people knowing something about data / data systems and that knowledge being part of the data / data system and available for computation.)
