Idk how it is on other peoples timelines here but im seeing very little about Palestine. It feels surreal to see anything else, for me, right now. Will probably not be using this account for a while as a result. I don’t know how to be part of “the rest of the world” amidst this devastation

i keep thinking about this. things like this and the way people have been talking the past few days have made it so clear to me, in the push for more diversity in mainstream media the past few years, why i always noticed that arabs were rarely included.

I literally don’t care anymore. Look what happened when we were pitching SQUIRE in 2018. Literally the first response was about “anxiety” as if these major publishers don’t publish Zionist works constantly

ultimately I feel that this is a crossroads. Palestine is the future, in every way. We are watching our media, our publishers, our institutions actively suppressing us, keeping the military machine moving, keeping colonialism in check. Liberation for Palestine means liberation for us, everywhere.

Not that it actually matters to the ghouls who are “um actually its complicated” this was a Christian hospital where refugees from the past few days have been going to get treated, not that any of you know or care about Christians in Palestine because ultimately we’re all guilty of being Palestinian

Israel bombed a hospital after saying this, publicly. After the BBC “wondered out loud” whether Hamas was hiding in tunnels under hospitals and schools. A hospital. A hospital. A hospital.

The Palestinian-US boy killed in Chicago by his Islamophobic, racist landlord was named Wadea al-Fayoume. He and his mother were stabbed over 3 dozen times. This, in a country where pro-Palestine protesters are arrested, supporting Palestine is treated as criminal, & Islamophobia is mainstream.
