I read this question way back in the early bsky days, and was reminded of it by @hollie040.bsky.social
What's the littlest, oddest, or most mundane (but still very obviously *there*) gender affirming or euphoric thing in your life?
Not the big stuff, but the little everydays.
Receiving breastscreen letters for free screening for women over 50. My own shadow. A history - a friend I haven’t seen for 15 years yells my name from across a park and it’s just right. The right stretch marks. The changed scent of people, always.
The time at the farmers market the little (she was much shorter than myself) old lady looked at her husband and said "Move dear, this girl wants to get some things"
Not *to* me, but I made a lass extremely happy last week. Door-greeter @ well-known techpliance chain was, to my knowing eye, not long on her switch journey & had made a real effort to look both comfortable & good. Complimented her on her gorgeous hair & got a HUGE smile, a blush & a quiet "Thanks."
I didn't catch her full face, but there was a lady with a trans flag pin delivering my food last week. I upped her tip and texted her on door dash that seeing her and the pin were the highlight of my day.
