There is also a strong possibility that student protests, raising awareness of the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, helped bring public opinion along, “prompting” the Biden Administration’s to halt arms shipments to Israel pending reevaluation about their use in densely populated Raffah.
I understand that, in some cases, encampments stopped others using/entering public land (or land that college gave them free access to).
I’m delighted that they have been removed (if that’s the case).
Why stop Jews/Zionists entering? I don’t get it.
