It was only 12 years ago when I worked at a wānanga that I became aware of and started celebrating Matariki. I’m so happy that we get to celebrate it as a country in Aotearoa. I love it. Went down to the beach for kite flying. Perfect weather for humans, but not so much for kites🪁
