Having muted a large portion of the political content here: the tension appears false, to my eyes. If it's even vaguely important I still learn of it quickly, and I'm not subjected to nearly so much durm and strang about it.
I have a lot of people who post about politics and drama muted (or blocked) and also a very long list of muted words and it has definitely made the site a much more pleasant experience.
