Did you know that tomorrow, June 24 2024 is national make a terrible comic day? You don’t have to make comics every hour or a multi-page story, you just have to string a few panels together. It’s mandatory especially if you haven’t drawn anything for yourself lately and you miss it

Just read BARDA by @ngoziu.bsky.social & it was AMAZING!!! Ahhh so good I absolutely loved it. All the characters were so good & using the Fourth World concepts as metaphors for YA struggles (educators beating independence out of kids, religious authoritarianism, etc.) worked perfectly. Sequel when?

BARDA, my first graphic novel with DC COMICS, is out today. I wrote a blog post on the official DC website about drawing DC characters since I was a kid, my degree in Jack Kirby studies (pending!), and my newfound fanaticism for the King and the Fourth World.
