Not at all. My Panasonic lists separate COP for hot water, heating and overall. And there is another COP for cooling, not yet used this year.

I didn't know that! I don't even have a heat pump myself - we have district heating where I live. But fascinating stuff - I am a bit envious! Would love to toy around with the data.
