Elon Musk agreed that Autopilot/FSD would have allowed Justin Timberlake to drive drunk without getting arrested, literally marketing his cars as DUImobiles. Just incredible how little the law, let alone innocent lives, mean to him. www.bloomberg.com/opinion/arti...

Here is video of the user Musk is replying to, Omar Qazi aka "WholeMarsBlog," running a red light while using Autopilot. You know, exactly the thing that he and Musk are claiming it doesn't do. These people lie like they breathe. www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkXd...

I’m surprised that lying, stock pumping, pond scum swilling dillweed (Omar Qazi, fuck you) hasn’t been taken down yet.

Conservatives used to lie subtly, like tax cuts are good for the economy. Now they say stupid ass shit like they can eliminate rape. And a sack of cells is a person. They’re worried about the deficit while giving trillions of dollars to the rich.

The law requires that one be in control of one’s vehicle at all times. So, driving intoxicated while relying on a vehicle would be against the law and DUI would still apply if his BAC was over the limit.

this is extremely well established in case law, because horses are basically self-driving cars. you legally can’t ride a horse drunk even if your horse knows the way home.

I love this and that you know it

He's the disrupting the "being alive" market

…Never would have *let* him? Complete opposite hierarchy of control than what they advertise & sell

I know someone who almost jeopardized his driver's license because he trusted that using his Tesla according to the user manual would not lead him to, you know, do anything illegal

He faces jail for that statement if he does it in the UK.

i would be legitimately surprised if he considers anyone else like, "alive" in the same way he is

They absolutely do not view themselves as in charge when they're using Autopilot/FSD. That's a real problem.
