Great show from Todd Rundgren last night. I think I only knew about 6 songs (of the 20 or so he played) but he had his veteran band behind him, slipping easily between rock, pop, soul, art.
Fun fact I just learned: Rundgren was apparently the first artist approached by Allan Arkush to be the rebellious musical presence in what would eventually become ROCK ‘N’ ROLL HIGH SCHOOL. Then Cheap Trick when Rundgren declined, and Ramones only third choice.
