also i would personally not lecture a fucking NEW MEXICAN about how great things are for "gender" and "women's issues". i tried to get a new doctor recently and had to go through every single one listed in the Transgender Resource Directory to find one that was accepting new patients.
i got in under the wire, they aren't accepting new patients anymore. we're completely overwhelmed with trans patients from other states because "gender issues" are going so fucking badly in this country
to actually get transgender care, I had to get a doctor who was "accepting new patients" but in reality he has so many patients (and takes so many vacations) that when he says "ok I'll see u in 1 month!" the assistant who comes in to do the scheduling says "idk why he said 1, he's 100% booked for 3"
