I see a lot of "well why aren't emissions dropping faster" and other such complaints, I think it's genuinely very difficult to accept that there's any good news on the climate front for a lot of people after so many years of bad news
thank you, i feel very gaslit on here. it's like people refuse to acknowledge the actual data. there is no renewable transition, we're just stimulating more demand, and the hard data -- the actual measurements -- do not lie.
I don't see how people can look at this chart and claim that we are making any progress. I guess this makes me a doomer and my opinion should not be considered, while the whole site tries to figure out why people aren't celebrating all the obvious progress.
