Good afternoon! I'm hitting a roadblock on finding primary sources for the Greek story of the Pleiades. I've read through Hesiod, but he merely refers to the actual stars, not the story behind it. Anyone have anything? Thank you so much! 🏺

🏺I finally found it... The Library of Greek Mythology by Apollodorus. Translated by J.G. Frazer. Any better translations, please let me know. Doesn't seem like it should have been that hard. OR I'm getting old and getting worse at research. 😢 All is good now. 😊

Thanks y'all! This is very helpful. I've seen this site but wasn't quite sure on its legitimacy. There are sooooo many questionable sites out there!

I can’t parse academic citations enough to know if this will help, but the bottom of page 12 of this paper might give you some more places to dig? www.persee.fr/doc/rbph_003...

That looks quite promising! Thank you for your hard work! I've been searching for weeks and haven't found anything remotely promising.

You’re welcome! I’m a factchecker so when I see someone looking for facts, I get excited to see what I can find. 😂
