I’m in Seattle & we’re currently on track to have 15+ days straight of 80+ degree weather with no rain. In July. I’ve lived here for most of my 53 yrs & it has never been like this until the last 5 or so years. Ever. It legit breaks my brain how much the weather has changed since I was a kid.

NJ, as well. I was just explaining to my 9 year old that we used to get a couple of bad days with very high heat and humidity, every August in the 80s and 90s. But the rest of the summer was pretty bearable. It’s very different nowadays.

Psst: Project 2025 is terrifying for a lot of reasons but also because on page 5 it calls for teachers and librarians who grant access to books that are maligned as pornography (which just means anything LGBTQ) to be registered as sex offenders. Pass it on.

So much jewelry, pottery, art, etc from independent artists. I'd buy everything that caught my eye. I'd go to art fairs with a wagon for everything I'd buy. I'd use it all to decorate my multiple homes like the places you see in magazines.

if you won a million dollars what would be the first ridiculous thing you'd buy? something silly and pretty and fun for yourself. it can be small. I'd buy a hot pink e-bike or vespa, and give it pink marabou streamers.
