I understand the principle, but also "follows me" is a much lower bar for a bad actor to clear than "I follow them." They certainly won't be beneath following you specifically to harass you.

Please don't self-censor words or names on Bluesky. Bad actors aren't generally deterred by asterisk replacements or similar, but such things can get around mute lists set up for the mental health of those that made them. If the word or name is likely to attract bad elements, consider rephrasing.

Also, you should be able to restrict replies to only people you follow by using this tool:
