NASA:“There are no new issues to report today…the vehicle at Station is in good shape. I want to make it clear that Butch and Suni are not stranded in space." They are continuing to gather data, but there are no new issues with Starliner, and they will be returning home on that spacecraft. 🛰️

NASA will not set a return date for Boeing Starliner until the testing of the thruster failure is complete. (This honestly makes sense because the “Starliner’s return is delayed AGAIN” makes for terrible headlines)

I literally went to a Catholic high school in Oklahoma, and even there we didn’t have a Bible in every classroom, nor were we taught the Bible unless our parents opted into Catholicism class.

Visiting someone and getting suckered into assisting with one of their home improvement projects may be one of the more relatable astronaut activities that I've seen.

Boeing Starliner astronauts Suni and Butch are on bathroom duty up on the ISS apparently

NASA announced today that SpaceX was selected to develop the vehicle that will de-orbit the ISS in 2030. 🛰️

One of the things I absolutely love about doing the work I do now, which is space news but focused on larger context and analysis means I can take separate news stories and link them together to tell the bigger picture.

Considering all the spacesuit news lately, it’s good I was already working on a NASA spacesuit story. I hopefully will get that up tomorrow.
