Way too many people think of community as "me and all of my friends helping each other." You will not always like everyone you are in community with. You will need to support them at times, and at other times you will have to rely on them. You will still not like them. Community isn't about like.
Because like changes with the wind, & community can't afford that. You need to be able to rely on each other no matter what beef is happening or who fucked whom. This doesn't mean keeping dangerous or destructive individuals around, it means knowing the difference between them and regular assholes.
