The nice thing about organizing is that it is about more than just elections. E.g. mutual aid in all its forms, and campaigns to contact your electeds to bully, uh, persuade them.
I point this out not to downplay elections; it's just that some people are looking for things to do besides voting.
Like, a lot of the resentment towards "just vote"/"vote harder" is that some folks getting told that are in deep Red places. Or places where the Blue team is crappy, but entrenched, and voting for them may be necessary, but it is dispiriting as Hell.
