crazy that the hot wheels toy car version of the cyber truck has a lifetime guarantee, is built with more weather resistant materials, a 4.6 star average review rating, won’t kill anyone, and can do sick tricks
just finished Sofia Samatar’s “The Practice, The Horizon, and The Chain”
a really short read (<150pp) but incredibly potent. highly, highly recommended.

more cleaning: i finally removed batteries from my handhelds and believe it or not the GB Micro battery still had a pretty strong charge! after over 2 years in storage!

finally cleaning up my office after moving into our house in 2022

From LinkedIn; it’s what we’ve all been thinking. No strategy, just a panic to be first to market. For a product category next-to-no end user even wants!
My notes from my playthrough of Crow Country. The puzzles are just complicated enough to make you get out a pen and paper but not so hard that you’re left stumped for too long. A welcomed evolution of the more obtuse puzzles we used to get in survival horror & P&C adventure games in the 90s!
finished crow country and it’s easily one of my favourite games of the year
i think this game truly understands the /entire aesthetic/ of PSX-era survival horror games; it’s a weapons-grade audio-visual nostalgia trip for those of us who grew up on this stuff
short, satisfying, & built for replay

maybe this isn’t news but it seems that creators on kickstarter are now basically coming up with fake campaigns to dropship junk?
this is for a “25-degree ruler” that has 16 days left in its campaign with a ship date to backers in July
you can buy the product on Amazon right now, for much cheaper
i made one offhand joke in a group chat and this was on my desk when i came back from lunch lol (i still don’t know who did this)
always impressed with my coworkers haha
