"Roll Through the Ages: Iron Age" by Matt Leacock and Eagle-Gryphon Games with @kbowenwriter.bsky.social who beat me on ports and developments over my provinces and monuments
"Lord's of Baseball" by Max Jamelli and Mr. B Games in a 3p session including @kbowenwriter.bsky.social whose Philadelphia franchise won - really love this game - smoother with each play
Yesterday was an all-day family session of D&D. Today continues the extended holiday weekend with two games - "Mountain Goats" by Stefan Risthaus (picked up at Origins from Allplay) and "Era: Medieval Age" by Matt Leacock and Eggertspiele, both with @kbowenwriter.bsky.social
Another holiday family game of "Rock Paper Wizard: Fistful of Monsters" by Josh Cappel, Jay Cormier, and @senfoonglim.bsky.social who signed my copy at @unpub.bsky.social Prime (yay!)
Two games today with @kbowenwriter.bsky.social - (1) PnP of "The Great Deception," a deduction card game prototype by @maximpactgames.bsky.social that takes the board out of Clue and then adds a nice card player twist and (2) "Terraforming Mars: Dice" that is even more elegant than Ares Expedition.
Yesterday's Fathers Day family game was Mortum, one of those detective-style games that I've really come to love. We played the second scenario and did really well.
Home early enough from work today for a quick game of "Agricola: All Creatures Big and Small" with the "Even More Buildings" expansion, including the Dairy Farm which let me keep cows in adjacent open spaces - apparently they never wander off.
Sunday's game was "Architects of the West Kingdom" with @kbowenwriter.bsky.social who didn't like that her character Caroline started with debt, low virtue, and eight workers in prison (but a lot of money). My virtuous Rudolf, on the other hand, appears to have a red nose. Easter egg?
