There's a reason why of all the candidates in 2020, we got Biden. Understanding what we need to do going forward requires understanding that reason.

Right, but also he felt safe to a lot of people. He wasn't going to break things.

And you can see those same people flailing for safety in 2024.

Right! And it's true. He didn't break things. But there are broken things he didn't fix & SCOTUS is Exhibit A. It's easier for another candidate to articulate & carry forward the shift.

And the thing is... Maybe some of the things they were most afraid of being broken were already broken.
