Does anyone have experience working as an adaptor of the published book? Requesting those with experience working on adapting a published title to share their thoughts like time required, workload etc.

I so want people to read our recent book. Those who wish to review the book can please DM me. doi.org/10.1007/978-...
If an author talks about their book it's like throwing a stone in mud. Bit of a splat but no great impact. If a reader talks about that book it's like throwing a stone in a lake. Decent splash and ripples that go for miles. Please, folks - talk about the books you love. Your power is magnificent.

Reading Derek Lowe's recent column is intriguing and now this one structure is enough to give me nightmares. Four decades to prepare this weirdo!
To make truly bizarre natural products, cells need to go through some truly bizarre intermediates. It took almost 40 years to track this one down:

Did you know ChemScrapes was named by Prof Brian Halton (Victoria University of Wellington), including the suggestion to capitalise the "S"? The image below was drawn for Brian on the occasion of his 50th anniversary at VUW and pokes fun at the relationship he had with Uni admin. :) #chemsky

If you're a synthetic organic chemist, odds are that at some point over the years you have had a water hose pop off a condenser and thus flooded your hood. And the office of whoever was unfortunate enough to be below your lab, etc. Some ways not to do that:
