It's bad enough they foist Alexi Lalas on us. How many more indignities do we need to endure? from the Guardian's live blog of the Turkey/Georgia match it's enraging, his commentary is terrible, his persona is grating, and his politics are a giant middle finger to footie fans all over the States. I used to be mistaken for him-though I'm several inches shorter-and take it for a compliment. I would not do that now. couldn't have said it any better myself although I'm not sure this entirely captures his unearned arrogance
