Saw quite a few people confidently predicting a bold foot forward by Hunt earlier. Predictions in this instance are, I would suggest, a mug’s game.

I would like to confidently predict that I have no idea what’s going to happen. But it will be interesting to watch. And this time at least they won’t be pretending to run the country at the same time!

However… Could it be that Hunt is skipping the first waves of chaos to mount a bid later in the cycle rather than ruling himself out forever?
