From SCOTUS ruling that it's ok to ignore scientists, to the minimizing of COVID, the growing rejection of vaccines, the increasing restrictions on abortion access, and the lack of sufficient action on climate, the US is really is going all in on science denial. Dark times.

It’s birthday season and it’s time for another fancy cake! 🌈

Got a couple of unrelated pieces of really bad news this week and I just don’t know what to do with myself. Struggling to find a bright spot, just snuggling my cats. 😢

I ordered 8 cases of Petri dishes, and they arrived, which was fine. But then 20 cases of a different brand of the same item that had been backordered since 2022 arrived on the same day. So now I have 28 cases of Petri dishes. I guess I’ll build a fort?
