In the 90's I briefly worked for the scammers at Civic Development Group. It was a call center that cold-called for various "fund raisers". Each one gave varying amounts to the actual "charity". None gave more than 20%. Some gave as little as 5%. There's a doc on Max about them, "Telemarketers".
