I think a lot of people have visited world -1 on the NES. -2 is spicier, as it requires a disk version of the game, where the memory layout is different, and -1 can be finished. I finally got around to making there on the original hardware tonight. Appropriately, well past midnight.

One of the toughest problems Microsoft has to solve is that Windows has to serve two very different types of users: business users who don't want this at all, and home users who don't want this at all.

I'm playing with reflections again. This isn't strictly speaking portable, but if you only need to support 2-3 compilers and you're targeting something closer to a build chain or editing tools, picking apart module data does look promising. This is Visual Studio, hence module data living in IFC.

I've written an overlay/app for a streamer friend to add player-submitted quests to the Elden Ring. The stream is live, quests are already being failed. Come join for an entertaining stream.
