Many/most items on the list say that they cannot be shipped to the selected delivery location.

There is a work around for this! Apparently you can click 'add to basket' and when you're about to check out it shows the gift registry address option. The reason why it says "does not ship to this address" is because you're in a different country.

Marketplace items can't be shipped to the gift registry address. I tried to get you that big pot but even adding it separately to the cart generated the same message about no shipping. Toilet paper's inbound for Tuesday.
