We started off as a SafeHouse for trans individuals, but we've broadened to accommodate all queer people.

We don't accept monetary donations.

If you're having trouble with adding items to cart: One of our donors figured out that if you select "Cape Town" or any other city in S.Africa from the drop down menu under "Deliver to" when you're adding items to the cart, all the items will become available for shipping. (They're in the US.)

The items are shipped to a trusted ally because delivery does not take place in the (remote) area that we are based in. Unfortunately, there are no food items available to order on Amazon in Africa. We are working on a new way to get voucher donations/ food donations from donors who are far away.

Donate to a LGBTQ+ Safehouse in Africa this Pride month! They accept donations in the form of grocery vouchers. They depend on local food donations from allies & grocery vouchers from international donors.

THANK YOU!!! We received 3 bags of used shoes & clothes for the children & adults today. Clothing is often the last thing we think about because we're barely feeding everyone in the safehouse on a monthly basis. This helps alot! 🫶🏾

URGENT APPEAL!!! Our food supplies have run out. We have to feed 41 adults and 8 children for the rest of June. Please note we also need cleaning supplies & bedding! There are 50 people living in a shared space, so regular cleaning & disinfecting is important!
