More cartooning for Trans Day of Visibility. I was told some Trans folks like use egg imagery. An egg could be so many things! Birds, lizards, dinosaurs, faberge sculptures... And then be surprised by them hatching. Any trans folks are more than welcome to explore this idea or use these graphics.
Recurrent Ventures bought Popular Science Magazine in 2021, rotating-doored 3 CEOs, then shuttered one of the longest running science magazines in US history while citing a "need to evolve".
We need to start naming the firms when this happens - make lists, acknowledge the originators of such ideas.
Venture capital killed a 151-year-old magazine that I and so many other people were proud to work for, until, of course, we were all laid off a few weeks ago.
It just crossed my mind that for as much as I read and have had books that influenced me (probably Spider Robinsons Callahan series the most). The saddest but most heart felt thought is on the death of a favored animal (pet or wild) I hope the find The Door Into Summer. (Robert Heinlein)
