What's really disturbing about the debate fiasco is there's no way to be confident that Biden has it in him to pull off the near-flawless execution he'll need to win at this point.
At a minimum, the Bidens owe us a real conversation about that.

I read it. That's how I know that you had an explanation for why he supposedly looked weak last night. If you want to make a case for how getting into a yelliing match with Trump would have gone better, which is the other option for the forehose of lies Trump was putting out, feel free.
He does need to convince us he won't make any more mistakes of this magnitude. Do you really think it's unreasonable to ask that? A lot is at stake here.
The format worked against Trump as well. He needs to gain new voters but he did nothing that would achieve that. Instead the debate showed he's a demented and threatening maniac. Biden will get over his cold and look vastly better. Trump will continue to horrify most people who aren't in his cult.
