potentially unpopular opinion, but I think your little backyard fireworks actually suck

I enjoy a professional show, but I don’t enjoy the random dude shooting flares way too close to my house and making me jump for no reason and making my dog so scared she can’t take a piss at night

also! it doesn’t look good!

and as an EMT, it baffles me!

I’m actually amazed people are dumb enough to do it somewhere as densely populated as Philly. I wouldn’t even wanna light fireworks in my large suburban backyard. The risk of lighting someone’s house on fire is too high
