it’s exhausting to have a discussion with someone who just refuses to use words according their definitions and then acts like it’s your fault for misunderstanding them
“that’s not what that word means to me” okay well it’s what that word means to everyone else, so you’re going to give up effective communication for the sake of… idk? being edgy and cool and different?
I remember having a similar argument with a guy but he was arguing for it on a larger scale. I tried to point out the problems, it went no where, I eventually just said it was dangerous. I wonder if he paused for even a second the first time he heard "alternative facts"
