The @RISecState‘s gallery space in the basement of the state house is fantastic! The RI Black Historical Society has a display for #BlackHistoryMonth. In this beautiful collage, we see many famous Black Rhode Islanders, including Edward and Christina Banister and Siseretta Jones.
