Thanks to Cathode TV I discovered the 1991 zero-budget, shot-on-video-in-rural-Florida fantasy classic WAY BAD STONE, and it's already on my long list of obsessions.
On top of coming across like someone's no-frills LARP/D&D campaign, it adds on a late '80s synth soundtrack, the gore of a Video Nasties slasher movie of the time, and a cast of genuine medieval war reenactors who were really into their hobby, and it shows.
