Happy #WaterWednesday! π¦
On a scorching hot Summer day in San Jose, I need some cool, gray, and wet. And I need only reach back a few weeks to Torrey Pines, California, to get it. Note the lone fisherman in the surf π£
#TorreyPines
Good morning to you! We had very early appointments for scans this morning, so the walk and maybe a swim will be in the evening. Thick, humid air here. It was raining at the appointment location but dry here.
I checked weather in CA. Still miserably hot. I imagine your getting things done early am.
I hope your appt. went well this morning & that some progress is being made ππ» Iβm curious about how you do your swim in the ocean. Do you just swim parallel to the coast? Have you ever encountered a rip current? Yes, the operative word here is still hot. And it will remain so right thru next week π₯΅
Thank you. Results later today.
Yes, we swim parallel to the coast and not too deep. There are rip currents up here because the dropp-off is quick. If you look at the water before going in you can see approx where they are. 2 swirls of water going in opposite directions.
My understanding is that if you ever do get caught in a rip current that you swim perpendicular to it and not try to fight it.
I wish you the very best of luck with the test results ππ»πππ»
