Hello, my friend, & a Happy 4th of July to you too! 🎆 I bet Denver (if you’re there) is going 2 have a splendid fireworks display tonight. It’s funny but after a high of 107° yesterday, today’s high of 99° seemed cool by comparison 🤪 Unfortunately, this heat wave is with us right through next week

Haha! In Nebraska, pretty quiet on the farm. In Denver, I would be able to see the Rockies (MLB) fireworks show and the Colo. Rapids (soccer) show from my condo. The baseball team has fireworks a couple times during the season.

What a great view you have from your condo in Denver! Not only of downtown Denver & the Rocky Mts., but of fireworks displays as well 🎆

I could see this picture 100 times and still appreciate its beauty. Hope you had a good 4th!

Thank you, my friend! 🙏🏻 My 4th was fairly uneventful and without any fireworks. I’m at the tail-end of a week-long cold and felt worn out all day. But today I’m feeling much better so far. Did you guys watch the fireworks last night?

Sorry to hear you've not felt well. I think dealing with a cold is harder in summer than it is in the winter. We were supposed to see fireworks on the beach last night. They started at 10:15. We never made it! 1/2

Gone are the days when we would spend the day in Boston, attend the Pops Concert and then see the fireworks. Glad we did it when we had the stamina! Hope you continue to feel better!

Thank you 🙏🏻 I remember on July 4th for the Bicentennial I went with some friends to Central Park in NYC to listen to the NY Philharmonic perform the 1812 Overture and then during the finale, the fireworks went off. It was amazing. But like yourselves, I prefer to go to sleep early these days 😌

I was at the Esplanade in Boston listening to the Boston Pops! It was hotter than hades that day.

I've been well, just busy trying to prep everything for the vegetables before the worst heat hits. We're going to hover around 100 all next week (at roughly 6,000 ft). They've been putting out 1-5 acre fires in this area all week. How hot is it supposed to get there? Are you getting any smoke?
