PSA: LABELERS WORK!
The @profile-labels.bossett.social labeler just tipped me off to a scam before I wasted any time (or money!).
When Lars won the #mayllennial prize money, I asked where to send it, and a scammer quickly imitated them and was outed by the new account / no display name labels π
Glad to hear you didn't get got by this guy, I've been combatting him for the last few months but since DMs were a thing he's primarily moved his trade to scamming people there so I can't see it π
