Been thinking a lot lately about the serialized nature of decades-old comic book characters and whether the lack of a finite nature best serves the characters. @insomniacgames’s Spider-Man shakes up the status quo, reckoning with time, mortality, and letting go. #SpiderMan2
Fantastic article, Richard. Since superheroes are intended for a different audience then in the '40s, the open ended narrative doesn't work as well. I really think a "10 year universe" model is the way to go, where creators can work towards a character's end, complete with narrative tension.
