My girlfriend just said “you’re a beautiful creature. Sorry you’re so maligned” to a pigeon

(ugh why did I write "too" when op doesn't even say she's hating pigeons at all??? sorry!) anyways these days I tend to be a bit like "hmmm" at people who insist on hating pigeons, although I get that phobias exist as well

(also also I turned into middleaged asian lady who talks to the pigeons she encounters on her way to work)
